Monday 05 Feb 2018 ZHIC Receives A delegation from 'Punitive and Correctioanl Institution of Sharjah' ZHIC Ajman branch received visitors from Punitive and Correctional Institution of Sharjah General Police HQ
Zayed House for Islamic Culture (ZHIC) Ajman branch received visitors from Sharjah General Police HQ Punitive and Correctional Institution. The aim of the visit was to coordinate programs ZHIC provides to Punitive and Correctional Institution in the current Year of Zayed. In addition to deliberating ways of cooperation and the needs of the institution with regard to Arabic to speakers of other languages.  Besides, providing books, cultural publications and delivering of lectures on Islamic culture achieving ZHIC vision to be a leading institution introducing the essence of the Islamic culture and assimilation of new Muslims. Discussions included the possibility of executing new programs unlike the ones previously provided to cater for women as well. Dr. Fatima Al Ali, the acting manager of ZHIC Ajman branch and Mr. Mohammed Al Marzooqi, head of support services section, attended the meeting.  Along with the other party represented by captain Khalfan al Aleeli,  rehabilitation and training branch manager, sergeant Mohammed Fadel, religious and police rehabilitation chief, and lance corporal M. al Shehhi, women section religious rehabilitation supervisor. Cooperation between ZHIC and Punitive and Correctional Institution has always been in place for many years. As records show that ZHIC provided 18 lectures on cultural and aware raising last year, in various languages benefitting 110 inmates. Added to 45 informative sessions for inmates interested in Islamic culture.
