Family has a central role in social upbringing on values; especially the value of tolerance as a noble requirement called for by all beliefs. As rational human nature in social conduct guarantees peaceful and harmonious living with others in the context of cultural diversity. In order to achieve spiritual stability, self-contentment and sustainable social development . Moreover, family is the first environment receiving the humankind since birth, growing up and acquiring of values driving conduct beginning with parents and the outer world. For the determinativeness of behavior, families should care for good bonds between their members. In order that the members benefit when dealing with others, added to the contribution in creating a sociable, tolerant and civilized being, particularly when a relative is of another sect, nationality or faith. Thus, a tolerant family member positively interacts not only with other members, but also with the current multicultural world. God says, ‘O mankind, We have created you from a male and a female; And We have made you tribes and sub-tribe`s that you may know one another’.  With good ideology, moderation, open-mindedness and tolerance, such acquaintance would come to fruition . Thus, proper familial upbringing is the source of good values from which tolerance stems as a culture and solid harmony. Notably as family tolerance is essential for human character positively reflected in society as a whole . One of the most significant effects of family tolerance on individual and society is that it fosters rapport, happiness, and good status. Besides, it lessens familial misunderstanding, contempt and miscommunication . In addition, one forgives those who have done him wrong. God says, ‘So forgive, (O Muhammad), with a gracious forgiveness’.  The aforementioned verse is the epitome of noble manners as it accentuates forgiving and glossing over . In conclusion, the best meant in the hadith -‘The best of you is he who is best to his family; and I am the best of you to my family’;  - is out of good deeds, especially tolerance within family. As confidence grows along with integration and coexistence due to the values of tolerance. Which yields stability, better future, cooperation and rapport amongst segments of society in general .
